CO-DEVELOPMENT SERVICES:

BioMedomics offers co-development

services for interested strategic partners
to develop specific diagnostic assays to
meet their requirements. Such tests may

represent an assay already under

development at BioMedomics, which
can be customized to meet partner
requirements, or alternatively, Bio-
Medomics is also interested in developing customer-specified assays.  In either case, BioMedomics typically seeks to provide these services as part of a broader strategic alliance, involving, e.g., strategic investment and/or a longer range relationship.  We highlight our strengths for development below:

· Strong Development Capability:  BioMedomics is located within the Hamner Institutes, where we have extensive access to wet lab space, sophisticated lab equipment, and scientific collaborations.  Our development team represents an unusually strong combination of:

· Biomedical engineering of test platforms, and

· Proteomics and genomics underlying our assay development.

· Proprietary Intellectual PropertyBioMedomics has pending patents for our initial POC test targets, aspects of our genomics detection, and issued/pending patents for our next generation POC reader platform based on Time Resolved Fluorescence Detection. The latter platform will increase test sensitivity by orders of magnitude. In addition, we have extensive know-how across our entire business & product focus, including proprietary genetic probes and primers, and calculation software for fast DNA sequencing. This IP base is continuing to grow rapidly as we engage further projects.

· Leverage-able Grant ActivityBioMedomics is the recipient of multiple prestigious SBIR grants (including NIH/CDC and the U.S. Army) which support our work and IP development in both our LFIA and fast genotyping business lines. We have also qualified for and received support from both the NC Biotech Center and NC IDEA. This grant and other support leverages our ability to offer powerful development capabilities to our corporate strategic partners.

· Strong Development Ecosystem AccessBioMedomics is in touch daily with a large number of University faculty collaborators at Duke, UNC, NCSU and other institutions elsewhere, and extensively connected to partners in the development ecosystem for our target tests. These relationships have enabled very rapid and capital efficient development in our current projects, and are expected to do so in the future as we work with additional corporate partners.
