Advancing Sickle Cell Disease(SCD) Testing in Sub-Saharan African Countries


The primary objectives of this grant program are to:

  • Increase awareness and understanding of Sickle Cell Disease within Sub-Saharan African communities.
  • Improve the diagnosis, management, and treatment of Sickle Cell Disease through innovative research and interventions.
  • Support the development and implementation of educational programs for healthcare professionals and the general public about Sickle Cell Disease.

Geographic scope:

Sub-Saharan African Countries

Eligibility criteria for applicants include:

NGOs, clinics, and hospitals. Proposals must align with the stated objectives and focus areas. Demonstrate commitment to improving Sickle Cell Disease awareness and patient care.

Maximum grant amount:

100-200 tests of Sickle SCAN per project

3-6 months
